Color is an important factor for all living things. Color gets its priority almost in every field. Books on color theory can go about hundreds of pages explaining different aspects of color and human reaction behind colors. Color codes are more important in world wide web. I like to focus on color which is related to art & design. Color plays a vital role when it comes to art & design. There are two types of color methodology or schemes, CMYK and RGB. I don't want to go deep into this because it may change the course of the topic. To be on the surface CMYK is used for media publishing (printing) and RGB, as we all know it is digital color, the color that we see in monitor,TVs etc. Color can go from 8 bit, 16 bit or 32 bit. Higher the bit rate higher the file size and high resolution. To start with as usual RGB is RED, GREEN and BLUE. There are about 256 shades of red, blue and green. The combination of all the three colors gives us new colors which is used in a web page. This colors are often represented in Hex code, ie sixteen bit code like #000000, #ffffff,#333333 etc. The fact is that these hex codes can be used in layout design, soft wares like photo shop readily gives 16 bit code and in HTML also we can use Hex code. So to get a better look and feel of a website on use a proper color. Which colors can we use and which colors are generally used? To be clear, the colors depend upon creativity, we can use any color but there are some principles to be followed.For a normal website which has nearly 7 or 8 menu tabs etc. These types of websites generally go for smooth colors, colors which are pleasant. Blue and green are the best. But to try differently, use shades of a particular color. This method proves to be a big hit.For an e commerce website, most of them have colors only on some areas, major portion of the page will be white. The entire website wont be too colorful. This is due to people move into these sites only to buy something and they need to stay on the page for long time. using lots of colors irritates its users. But some social networking sites comes up with excellent layout because many of its users are young adults. So colors difference but the main aim is to reach its destination.

No field better than the Internet has grown enormously for the past twenty years. On the lighter side, Websites are supportive enough to serve different stages of society and its people.
HTML 4.0 is the recent update in world wide web. Before 4.0, web design was a bit more complicated. Designers have to code each and every page. If the pages colors and fonts are different, it creates a hectic job. Especially to change a & for different tables, we need to code separately for them. So the need for HTML to be more simple was put forth. 4.0 is the starting point of CSS (Cascaded style sheets). The format, such as colors, fonts, table size etc can be placed in a separate file and linked to a HTML document instead of having all the formats in the same HTML file. The first thing that we need to do is, remove attributes in the HTML file. Try using style sheets for that. You can give any name for the css file. declare all the font size, color etc in the css file. This will be very helpful because in the later stage if you want to edit the existing HTML file, just edit the CSS file, no need of editing the entire web page containing HTML.

If it goes like this it will choak our country's economy. From the past elections, the no. of parties which battles for Lok Sabaha also got increased. But the most important question is that, will people get answers for all their questions. We have to wait and see!

This post will be focussing on the layout design for websites. Layout design for a website is very important because it gives the clients look and feel about the website. Almost 90% of the internet user have 1024 X 768 monitor resolution, so we have to design a layout of somewhat similar size. While converting to HTML we can may the layout more compact. Use images at a specific level, do not plunge lots of images images in the layout. The navigation bar should be clear and visible at the first site. Always use some top links like home, contact us etc. and the footer is very essential. A detailed footer is very important for seo purpose. It depends on the designer and creative heads wheather to use flash banners or not. If the website needs a lot more SEO, flash can be avoided. Its better to put up some contents in the layout so that we can get a proper understanding of how the homepage comes.

Technicains and professionals who prove their skills in every movie. Many Indian movies has some good and notable graphics. We have many studios like Ocher, Toonz animation etc which focus on graphic sequences in films. So how can one get into these industries?. Toonz Animation is Kerela has their own facilty which trains young professionals for graphic and animation. Apart from this we have ICAT, image which is a course oriented animation studio. Arena animation, vfx etc. We have many of these institutes to study designing. Thinking of going abroad our options are much wider and brighter. There are more design schools around the globe which has earned them good reputation. Apart from animation and graphics, design field is very vast. Swinburne, cofa (UNSW) offers MS programs for design and digital stuffs. In US we have many universities which offers Master's in design. We can choose which one suits our best. George brown college in Canada offers one year program in Graphics and design field. UK also has some good institutes. As i said that we have much wider options for studying abroad, job opportunities is deeper. We have many animation and design studios, getting a job is not so tough for good designers and animators.
Everyone done mistakes and its human tendancy to make mistakes. But do everyone accept what they do or some people knows that they are doing something wrong and continue doing so. Ultimately what many human beings afraid is the consequence after a mistake. We can see often that small kids point each other for the mistakes they do. Its simple that they are aware & afraid of the consequence. But some people accept the fact that they have done a mistake and face it boldy. But some percentage of human beings tackles the situations so cleverly. Hiding a lie or wrong doing may still lead us to more confusion. Getting thro a confused situation is a real pressure, indeed we can accept the fact and face it boldly. Its natural to run away from problems. But we need to develope the skill to turn to it. The problems will be solved at that instant, it wont be prolonging. Its a common saying that the solution of our problems lies with in us, we have search for it.
This is really an age old debate. But many budding designers have the same problem "Mac or Windows". Well before thinking on writing about this one i read a lot of threads. To be frank i dono the reason behind it. It's simply user centric. Well as designers, the point in using Mac and windows is, Mac is somewhat new to asians, many people still own a PC running with windows OS. So if you have clients in Asia you need work in windows. Other than that Mac has a better graphic schemes. Mac gains some reliablity over Windows. Professinal designers use Mac because they are professionals. But 90% the people use both PC and Mac. Many people prefer windows because they dont bite their hands when it comes to money. Windows are affected by viruses. We need a seperate antivirus software to protect our windows system. Adobe softwares like Photoshop,Illustrator, flash etc runs on both operating systems. Ideally speaking we designers are more creative and it doesn't matters which OS we use.
India is the largest democratic country and it has come across many political leaders who fought for the country and who are fighting for the welfare of people. Although India is a biggest commercial and IT destination some of the villages still lack basic amenities. 2009 is really special because of the general elections. With tensions in Srilanka and LTTE, Paksitan and taliban, we do have our own problems. Economic recession in one of the greatest battle that many countries and its people are facing today and India is not excused from its pressure. As the rate of job cuts increasing day by day, India doesn't need a prime minister but a leader who is smart to tackle all these issues. Its a fact that these problems cannot be solved in a day. But needs to forecast all the issues. This elections 2009 will determine the answers for all these problems. Ulimately every citizen in India has his or her ability to grow on his own, its his duty to develop the country according to his standard. Let us hope that everything goes well in this election.
We have lived with the internet facility for more than 20 years. Without doubt this online fever has gone up in the recent past. Developing a good looking and an updated website has its own demand in the market. Ideally how we design a website is, we use photoshop for designing a layout. After designing is over we need to use dreamweaver for HTML conversion. After HTML conversion we use either PHP or .NET for backend programming. This backend programming is useful if we have some online forms in our website. For a proper website, we need a proper layout. Without a proper layout its gonna be really tough to survive in the electronic web. Although we have a beautiful layout its a fact that if it is not supported by a good markup language then its useless. So for a proper website it is necessary that we have a good code and a proper design. So after creating a website, if we need to change a particular text, do we change the layout? CSS (Cascaded Style Sheets) come to picture here which has made this job very simple. If we are well versed in javascript we can make our website much better...
