Will roger federer break the jinx by winning the french open? Well french open is the one gran slam title that has been eluding the greatest tennis player of all time roger federer. He has won 13 grand slam titles up until now, but not even one french open title. having said that he has reached the french open finals three times now, losing all the three to his nemesis Rafael nadal, the clay court king. Now he has made it to the finals of the french open yet again, this is his fourth french open final appearance. But this time around he does not have nadal has his opponent. He is playing swedens soderling , a player whom he has beaten every time he has played against, its 9-0 in favor of federer. But roger cannot take soderling lightly, because soderling is the one who ended Rafael nadal's great run at the french open. On the whole this is set to be one great final. All eyes are on Roger federer to win his first french open title, so that he can complete his career grand slam and only the sixth player in the history of tennis to do it. Not only that , if federer wins the title, he would equal the record of pete sampras's 14 grand slam titles. On the whole a great contest is in waiting, its Roger federer vs robin soderling.
