Outsourcing in India is happening for quite sometime. The main reason for outsourcing is, we can get resources to do our work at low cost. Time and the work load gets reduced once we outsource. So outsourcing seems to be very common in western countries. They mainly outsource it to countries in Asia as they can get more professionals at a lesser cost.
It's just like subcontracting, even big corporates do these type of outsourcing. Corporates do this because they can focus entirely on their business. Although there is a constant critic about the quality when outsourcing.
Especially in the BPO industry there is a high quality risk. Asian have a different slang when it comes to United States. This plays a major factor. But once we are experienced enough we can tackle this situation easily.
